Reeves & Associates serves immigrants and clients throughout the United States and worldwide in appeals of decisions with the  Board of Immigration Appeals, Circuit Courts of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States.

We appeal decisions from Immigration Courts (EOIR), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of State and District Courts. We have obtained relief for clients after denials of visa petitions, waivers and other applications. We protect clients by obtaining stays of deportation through the appeals process. We have also obtained post-conviction release including expungements of past convictions for clients with criminal convictions.

Success Stories ● Immigration Appeals

• A complaint in Federal Court, naming defendants including the Secretary of State and the Immigrant Visa Chief of the Manila Embassy, resulted in the reunion of a client and her parents after initial denial of visas and accusations of alien smuggling by U.S. consular officials abroad. 

• Reeves & Associates, through an action filed with the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, forced the Department of Homeland Security to revise its “age-out” provisions in V visa regulations.

• Our firm was able to obtain a Cancellation of Removal for a couple after proving that removal would constitute an exceptional and unusual hardship of the U.S. citizen daughter and grandfather.
