Professional Experience
Attorney Jeff L. Khurgel joined Reeves & Associates in January 2007, as an associate attorney in both the Family Reunification and Business/Employment Departments of the Firm's Pasadena, California office. He represents clients before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for waivers of inadmissibility, adjustments of status, naturalization benefits, and family and employment-based immigration petitions.

Prior to joining Reeves & Associates, Mr. Khurgel served with the Department of Homeland Security in the USCIS Office of the U.S. Embassy in Moscow. At the Embassy, he gained experience in family-based immigration petitions, appeals, various waivers and religion-based refugee processing. Mr. Khurgel also has experience in the private practice of immigration law, largely consisting of assisting families to reunite and contesting government charges of removability.

During law school, Mr. Khurgel was a participant in the Tel Aviv/Amman Middle East Conflict Resolution Clinical, which sought to address the ongoing crisis through international diplomacy and negotiation techniques. While in law school, Mr. Khurgel also served as a Judicial Law Clerk with the Department of Justice in Honolulu, and with The Federal Trade Commission in New York City.

Education
In May of 2002, Mr. Khurgel obtained his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Pepperdine School of Law, with a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution. Immediately prior, he obtained his a Bachelor of Arts Degree, Cum Laude, from California State University Long Beach. Mr. Khurgel was admitted to the California State Bar in June, 2004.
