Opportunities
Due to the acute shortage of qualified health
care workers in the U.S., registered nurses and physical therapists
are eligible for special processing of permanent residency

Foreign RN Visa Screen Certificates
The visa screen is a U.S. government immigration
requirement to establish that an RN has the equivalent of
a U.S. accredited nursing degree, has sufficient command of
spoken and written English, has an unencumbered license (i.e.
the RN license is not revoked), and that the RN has adequate
medical knowledge. The Visa Screen is not a license. The U.S.
National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) examination,
leading to the visa screen and often licensing, can now be
taken in Hong Kong. This is particularly helpful to nurses
from the Philippines, China and India.
